Central Jakarta Urges Developer to Certify Public Facility Assets

The Central Jakarta Administration has urged the Plaza Kenari Mas developer to certify land handed over to the Jakarta Provincial Government for social and public facilities in 2018 and 2019.

Central Jakarta Asset Management Sub-agency's Monitoring Subdivision Head Masyati said her team was monitoring the assets to ensure that land handed over by developers holding a SIPPT (Land Use Designation Permit) from the Jakarta Provincial Government was properly documented.

"The Plaza Kenari Mas developer handed over around 2,090 square meters of social and public facility land in 2018 and 2019," Masyati noted on Monday (8/10).

However, Masyati said the developer has yet to certify the social and public facility land handed over to the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"Under the two handover reports (BAST) agreed upon in 2018 and 2019, the developer was required to certify the social and public facility land within one year after handing it over to the Jakarta Provincial Government," she explained.

The Central Jakarta Administration team therefore returned to the Plaza Kenari Mas building to urge the developer to immediately obtain certificates for the social and public facility land from the National Land Agency (BPN), she added.

"We will continue to follow up with the developer on its obligation to certify the social and public facility land assets handed over in the name of the Jakarta Provincial Government," she said.
